The first steps to create an Android application in Sketchware Pro
In the latest Sketchware Pro, you are not required to log in or register. So you can immediately create your own application as you wish. The following are the first steps you must take to start creating your newest application project:
1. When you first log in you will be shown the main page. To start creating an application, you can click the plus logo (+) to create a new project. After that, you will be required to create an application name that will be seen by everyone. Make sure the name of your application is attractive enough and does not plagiarize, because this is done so that the name of your application looks newer and will not have similarities with applications that have been created by other people before. So before creating an application name, you can search on the internet for the name of the application you are going to create. For example, if no one has used the name of the application, then you can use that name.
2. Make your application icon, make sure it is attractive and not plagiarized. So the application icon that you will create must be created or designed yourself. To change the application icon, you can click on the section (Tap to Change Icon) then you will automatically be taken to the gallery page to select your application icon.
3. Perform Advanced Settings to change the theme color of your application. There you will be shown several options, namely, colorAccent, colorPrimary, colorPrimaryDark, colorControlHighlight, and colorControlNormal.
4. Change (Package Name) according to your application name and don't forget to add (.com) at the beginning or end of your application name. This is the most important part in creating an application, because it will affect the Firebase DataBase system and the application release process on PlayStore or AppStore.
5. In the project version section, you can ignore it first. Why is that ? because this is your first project, so if you want to change the application version number, it's best after the application has been created and you want to update it.
6. Click create a project or application, then you will be taken to the application creation page. For the first step of the experiment, you can enter linear V or H according to your wishes into the visual SmartPhone icon. Then you can click on the linear that you just placed to give the linear a color to make it look more attractive. After clicking, you can swipe to the right on the basic menu until you find the (Background Color) menu. If you have found it, you can click and choose the color you want.
7. Place several items into linear ones such as Button, TextView, EditText and others. To fill empty space on linear. If so, you can click the (Run) button in the bottom right corner. Wait until the process is complete, until the application installation process. Once installed, you can open the results of your first application.
